The Cayman Islands: Loggerhead Turtle 1/10 oz Gold 2023 Prooflike coin is an interesting product from the 'Cayman Sea Life' series. The Loggerhead Turtle is a species of sea turtle found in warm ocean waters around the world. It is characterised by its large, heavily shielded head and broad, heart-shaped, reddish-brown carapace. Unfortunately, loggerhead turtles are threatened by habitat loss, fishing, plastic pollution and other human activities. They are therefore protected by law in many countries.

The gold coin containing the image of the Koi fish was made from pure Au.9999 gold, weighing 1/10th of a troy ounce, to a prooflike standard. The gold coin was produced by the Scottsdale Mint, in a low mintage of only 10,000 pieces.The product is guaranteed and is legal tender in the Cayman Islands.

The Averse shows the coat of arms of the Cayman Islands along with information on the year of mintage and face value.

The Rewers of the coin depicts a sea turtle. The reverse side shows the inscription "LOGGERHEAD TURTLE" and the weight and purity of the bullion.
