The gold coin was made of pure Au.9999 bullion, weighing 1/10th of a troy ounce and measuring 16 mm in diameter. The mintage of the product is 5,000 pieces. Moreover, the said coin is guaranteed by the Government of Canada and is full legal tender in the issuer's country. The specimen is delivered in its original packaging.
The obverse depicts the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II and includes the denomination, as designed by Susanna Blunt.
Rewers of the coin show an adult polar bear with baby bears. The reverse also features a 'paw print', as well as information on the year, purity of bullion, weight and country of issue. The reverse was designed by Pierre Leduc.
