Canada: National Indigenous Peoples Day $2 2023 t is a commemorative coin celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day celebrated on June 21. The ceremony aims to recognize and honor the cultures of Indians, Inuit and Metis. The numismatic design was designed by three individual artists, Megan Currie, Myrna Pokiak and Jennine Krauchi.
Valor bit is made of nickel steel and aluminum bronze weighing 6.99 grams and 28 mm in diameter.
This remarkable piece was produced by The Royal Canadian Mint. The coin is guaranteed by the Government of Canada as to its legality, purity of the bullion and origin of the metal, and is a full-fledged means of payment in the country of the issuer. Mint roll is 25 pieces.
Obverse depicts the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II and the date of issue, as designed by Susanna Blunt .
Reverse showcases impressive design and symbols drawn from the culture and heritage of Canada's indigenous peoples, as well as the face value and country of the issuer.
