Canada: Moon Sky - Raven Colored $20 Silver 2025 Proof Hologram
Canada: Moon Sky Raven Colored $20 Silver 2025 Proof Hologram – a unique silver coin that combines the traditional art of Canada's Indigenous peoples with modern holographic technology. The design, inspired by Inuit mythology, depicts the Raven as the guardian of secrets and a symbol of creative imagination. This piece is the only holographic coin in the Royal Canadian Mint’s 2025 lineup.
Obverse features the effigy of King Charles III, designed by Steven Rosati, surrounded by the inscriptions of the issuer and the coin’s face value.
The coin is struck from pure silver of .9999 fineness, weighs 1 troy ounce, and has a diameter of 38 mm. The holographic technology used creates the illusion of a three-dimensional image that changes depending on the viewing angle, showing the Raven against the backdrop of the aurora borealis. The reverse design is by artist Bronson Jacque from Nunatsiavut.
Reverse depicts two Ravens – one engraved, symbolizing our earthly side, and the other in hologram form, representing the power of storytelling and spiritual freedom. The multicolored sky in the background features the aurora borealis, highlighting the magical nature of the composition.
