Canada: Interconnected Nature $20 Silver Coin 2025 Proof
Canada: Interconnected Nature $20 Silver 2025 Proof is a unique coin celebrating the Inuit tradition of storytelling and the deep bond between the Inuit and the natural world. In Inuit culture, knowledge is passed down through stories – about hunting, gathering akpik (cloudberries), or the seasonal rhythms of nature – teaching that all living things are interconnected.
This coin is a visual narrative inspired by childhood memories in Nunatsiavut. It is a powerful scene told in an Inuit voice – full of symbolism, detail, and emotion – depicting the unbreakable connection between people and the natural world, where every element is part of a greater whole.
The coin is struck from 99.99% pure silver and finished to a proof standard. It measures 38 mm in diameter and weighs 31.39 g. The worldwide mintage is limited to just 5,500 pieces. It comes in an elegant black clamshell case with a decorative beauty box.
Obverse features the effigy of King Charles III by Steven Rosati, along with the coin’s face value ($20), issuing country (Canada), and year of issue (2025).
Reverse was designed by Inuit artist Jason Sikoak. It shows, from a bird’s-eye view, a landscape filled with life, where each figure and detail – even a distant bear – plays a meaningful role in the story of interdependence between humans and nature.
