Canada: Heraldic Landscape: Birds of Canada 5000 gram Silver 2024 Proof presenting a new version of the Canadian Coat of Arms by Cathy Bursey-Sabourin, the artist responsible for the current official design of the coat of arms. This stunning coin not only celebrates Canadian heraldry, but is also a remarkable collector's item in pure silver, with each piece reflecting the country's rich symbols and history. It is a currency that is produced by the renowned Royal Canadian Mint.
Each piece is struck in pure Ag.9999 silver, weighing 5,000 grams and measuring 180mm in diameter, to proof standard. In addition, each silver leaf is guaranteed by the Government of Canada and is full legal tender in the issuing country.
The obverse of the silver coin features the likeness of King Charles III, as well as the face value and minting year of the coin.
The reverse includes emblems of birds from the 13 provinces and territories of Canada, combined with heraldic lines, as well as the proof in which the coin was struck and the country of issue. Cathy Bursey-Sabourin is responsible for the design.
