Canada: Dancing Ammolite - Elements of Nature "Earth" Silver 2025 Gilded Proof Coin
Canada: Dancing Ammolite - Elements of Nature "Earth" Gilded $20 Silver 2025 Proof is the second coin in the "Dancing Ammolite" series, continuing the celebration of the fundamental elements of nature. The 2025 edition focuses on the element that sustains and nourishes us – Earth. The blooming motif in the design symbolizes the cyclical renewal and rebirth of nature, while the surrounding branches and roots represent enduring growth and stability.
The coin is struck from .9999 fine silver, weighing 20.86 grams and measuring 36.07 mm in diameter, in a proof standard. It has been selectively gilded with yellow gold. At the center of the coin, a natural ammolite is embedded, set in an intricately crafted three-dimensional frame that allows it to move freely with every movement of the coin, shimmering with vibrant colors. The ammolite setting was created by the renowned Canadian company Beverly Hills Jewellers. The gemstone is ethically sourced from the Bearpaw geological formation in Alberta.
The mintage is limited to only 950 pieces, making it a unique and exclusive collector’s item. Each coin comes in an individually certified package. Additionally, it carries a government guarantee from Canada confirming its legality, metal purity, and provenance, and it is a fully legal tender in the issuing country.
Obverse: Features the portrait of King Charles III, designed by Steven Rosati, along with the coin’s face value, year of issue, and issuing country.
Reverse: Showcases the ammolite surrounded by engraved, gilded botanical motifs symbolizing renewal and the cyclical nature of life. The reverse was designed by Mariya Olshevska.
The gemstone on the coin is natural – any discoloration is due to its unique properties and is not considered a manufacturing defect, and therefore is not eligible for returns.
