Canada: Celebrating Canada’s Diversity – Strength and Abundance $20 Silver 2025 Proof is an extraordinary coin from the series honoring Canada's cultural diversity. The 2025 edition pays tribute to the Italian Canadian community – one of the largest Italian diasporas in the world, numbering over 1.5 million people. For generations, this community has enriched Canada’s literary, musical, scientific, and economic life, while Little Italy neighborhoods remain vibrant symbols of tradition, unity, and strength.

The coin presents a symbolic fusion of Italian and Canadian culture. At its center is the five-pointed Stella d’Italia – a national emblem of Italy – adorned with a simulated red Italian coral. In Italian tradition, coral is treasured for its beauty and protective qualities, adding vivid color to the design. Surrounding the star are architectural motifs of columns and arches, incorporated into a Renaissance-style composition inspired by the emblem of the Italian Republic, featuring oak and olive branches symbolizing strength and abundance.

The coin is struck in 99.99% pure silver and finished to proof quality. It has a diameter of 38 mm and a weight of 31.39 g. The mintage is strictly limited to only 5,500 pieces worldwide – fewer than the previous 2024 edition. It comes in a classic black clamshell case with a decorative beauty box.

Obverse features the effigy of King Charles III by Steven Rosati, surrounded by an ornate Renaissance-inspired border. It also includes the coin’s face value, issuing country, and year of issue.

Reverse by Tony Bianco shows the Stella d’Italia with a symbolic red coral at the center, framed by architecture and design elements reflecting the unity and cultural enrichment between Italy and Canada.
