The coin is minted in Au.9999 gold, weighing 1 troy ounce and 30 mm in diameter, in reverse proof standard. The specimen comes with individual certified packaging. The mintage of the product is 350 pieces. In addition, this extraordinary specimen was produced by The Royal Canadian Mint. The obverse depicts an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Susanna Blunt.

Rewers shows a poppy flower, engraved with four additional poppy flowers and a bud, three leaves complete the swirling floral arrangement, whose movement alludes to the whirlpool of war, while the multitude of tombstones emphasises the enormity of the loss of life during the four-year conflict .The coin contains information on the year, face value and country of issue. The reverse was designed by Kerri Weller.
