The coin is struck from pure silver of .9999 fineness and weighs over 144 grams. The central part features cast allegorical figures with additional gilding, inspired by sculptures by Walter S. Allward that stand in front of the Supreme Court building in Ottawa. The reverse and obverse form a panoramic, spatial scene. Limited edition – only 1800 pieces worldwide. Reverse shows gilded allegories of Justice and Truth in a spatial central opening. Rebecca Yanovskaya's design is a modern interpretation of classical sculptures symbolizing the pursuit of honesty, equality, and truth in the Canadian justice system.
