Canada: 25 Cents Silver 1960 is a historic circulation coin, struck in Ag 800 silver. It comes from the reign of Queen Elizabeth II and represents part of Canada's minting tradition, making it an attractive collectible piece.

The coin weighs 5.83 g, has a diameter of 23.88 mm and a thickness of 1.58 mm. Its edge is reeded, and the obverse and reverse orientation is medal alignment.

Obverse features the young portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Mary Gillick. The legend reads “ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA”.

Reverse shows a woodland caribou, a symbol of Canadian wildlife, designed by Emanuel Hahn. It is accompanied by the inscriptions “25 CENTS”, “CANADA”, and the designer’s initial “H”.
