The 1987 Bicentennial of the Constitution $5 Gold is a gold investment coin designed by Marcel Jovine weighing 8, 359 grams and having a bullion purity of 900 celebrating the 200th anniversary of the United States Constitution. Coins with the image of an eagle and the inscription "Liberty" are the hallmark of the United States Mint. It is interesting to note that the bullion used in production is locally sourced.
