The silver eagle has been made from pure Ag.9999 bullion, weighing 10 troy ounces, to enhanced reverse proof and high relief standards. The renowned Australian mint, The Perth Mint, is responsible for the production of the coin. It is worth mentioning that all coins from the Wedge-Tailed Eagle collection are guaranteed by the Australian Government and are legal tender in the issuer's country. The product comes with individual, original packaging.The obverse of the coin features the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain and the coin's denomination. The obverse was designed by Jody Clark.

Rewers feature an image of an eagle with an open beak and the inscription "AUSTRALIAN WEDGE TAILED EAGLE". In addition, at the bottom of the reverse is information about the weight of the coin, the bullion proof and the date of issue, as well as the mint mark, the 'P'. The designer of the reverse was John M. Mercanti.
