The crocodile-the largest carnivorous reptile that lives in an aquatic environment. There are currently 21 species, which are divided into three families: alligators, gavials and crocodiles proper. The largest specimens reach 10m in length, have flat heads with a long snout and powerful dentition, a body covered with shields and horn-like scales, and their toes of short legs are connected by a buoyant membrane.Obverse: decorated with an illustration of a shield on which I find the figure of Poseidon with a mermaid, on the right stands a treasure chest. Above the shield one can see a native in a boat, typical of the Palau region. In addition, on the obverse there is the denomination of the coin and the inscription REPUBLIC OF PALAU.The reverse: is decorated with an image of a saltwater crocodile.
