Australian Kangaroo 2 oz Gold 2024 Proof High Relief
The coin with the image of the Kangaroo is one of the most frequently chosen investment products by collectors. It is worth mentioning that what distinguishes this product from other gold investment coins is that the design of the coin's reverse changes annually. Moreover, it has the added security of an engraved 'P' on the reverse side.
The very history of this remarkable piece dates back to 1987, and for the first 21 years of production, the gold kangaroo was minted as a gold nugget coin. Importantly, the image has invariably been adorned with a kangaroo since 1995; earlier designs depicted mined gold nuggets in addition to the kangaroo.
On the obverse it depicts Britain's King Charles III, based on a design by Dan Thorne. You can also find information about the face value of the coin on it.
Rewers shows an adult jumping kangaroo. A windmill is depicted in the background. The coin bears the inscription "KANGAROO" as well as information on the weight, year of issue and bullion proof. The reverse was designed by Wade Robinson.
