The silver bullion coin depicting the Coat of Arms of Australia is an excellent addition to the collection with a historic specimen. This silver bullion coin was produced in 1966 and comes from the Royal Australian Mint The historical outline of the silver coin dates back to 1966 when it was introduced following the change in Australia's monetary system, it is the only circulating coin containing 80% silver and 20% copper. Due to the rapid increase in the value of silver, this silver value was replaced as early as 1969.
Each coin has a weight of 13.28g and a silver purity of 800. The reverse features an image of the Australian Coat of Arms. The obverse represents the image of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain together with the year and country of issue.
