The Year of the Goat story
According to Chinese tradition, the emperor held a race among the animals to decide which twelve would appear in the lunar calendar. The gentle yet steadfast goat travelled alongside the lively monkey and spirited rooster. Near the finish, the trio joined forces to cross a wide, fast-flowing river. With calm determination, the goat led the way and reached the far bank first, securing eighth place.
