The coin was struck in pure Au.9999 bullion, weighing one troy ounce, 32 mm in diameter. The gold coin was produced by the Scottsdale Mint, in a low mintage of only 2,500 pieces. The product is legal tender in the territories of the eight members that make up the Central Bank of the Eastern Caribbean.
The obverse bears the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions "QUEEN ELIZABETH II" and "EASTERN CARIBBEAN CENTRAL PARK". The obverse also contains information on the weight, purity of the bullion and face value of the coin.
Rewers show the coat of arms of Antigua and Barbuda, which depicts a pineapple, sugar cane, hibiscus and yucca. A stylised cane mill is positioned in the centre. The shield is supported by deer symbolising the island of Barbuda. The reverse also bears the inscription 'Antigua & Barbuda' and the year the coin was struck.
