The coins are minted from an alloy of copper and nickel and bromine and aluminium. The coins have denominations - 2 Dollar, 1 Dollar. In order of highest face value, the products have weight and diameter:6.99g and 28mm, 6.27g and 26.5mm.
The piece comes with individual packaging. This remarkable set was produced by The Royal Canadian Mint, in an edition of 3,500 pieces. The coins are guaranteed by the Government of Canada as to its legality, purity of bullion and origin of metal, and are full legal tender in the issuer's country.
The obverses depict an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II", "DG REGINA" and "1952-2022", according to a design by Susanna Blunt .
The reverses feature information on the year, denomination and country of issue. The coins depict successively National Indigenous Peoples Day, the 50th 100th Anniversary of the Birth of Jean Paul Riopellei and Honouring Elsie MacGillCoin.
