American Eagle 1 oz Palladium 2021
The design is known by many as the 'Winged Liberty' and is considered one of the most attractive coins ever to come from the United States. Demand for Palladium Eagles is high, due to several factors favouring this coin.Firstly, this is the first time the US Mint has created a coin from this precious metal. Secondly, the price is between the two other American Eagle coins currently produced by the US Mint - the American Gold Eagle and the American Silver Eagle.Thirdly, the use of Adolph A. Weinman's well-loved 'Winged Liberty' design will be a pull factor. Weinman's work is also featured on the reverse of the coin, although it has a much less well-known motif. It is based on a medal of his that was designed for the American Institute of Architects in 1907 and features the image of an eagle. Palladium eagles are produced by all branches of the US Mint except West Point.
The obverse features an image of Winged Liberty and the inscription 'LIBERTY', 'IN GOD WE TRUST' and the year the coin was struck. The Reverse of the coin depicts the American Eagle, the inscription "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", "E PLURIBIS UNUM" and information on the weight, purity of the bullion and the face value of the coin.Do you need help?
