Aluminium Bronze Coin Stranger Things - Hawkins Gilded $1 2026
The Stranger Things - Hawkins gold-plated aluminum bronze coin $1 2026 is a collectible issue inspired by the cult TV series “Stranger Things,” which has become one of Netflix’s biggest phenomena. The coin was produced by the renowned Australian mint The Perth Mint and combines elements of a colorful design with an eye-catching gold-plated finish.
The series, created by the Duffer Brothers, debuted in 2016 and quickly gained enormous popularity thanks to its blend of 1980s atmosphere, science fiction horror, and mysterious storyline. Hawkins – a small town that serves as the central setting of the events – appears peaceful at first glance, yet it hides a gateway to the terrifying world of the Upside Down. One of the most dangerous entities in this dimension is the Mind Flayer, a powerful being that controls dark forces from the other side.
The coin design by Sean Rogers strikingly captures the atmosphere of the series through a combination of colorful and monochromatic elements symbolizing the two worlds. The limited mintage of only 5,000 pieces makes this issue an attractive item for fans of the series and collectors of pop culture coins.
Obverse features the effigy of King Charles III by Jody Clark. The obverse also includes the denomination 1 Dollar and the year of issue 2026.
Reverse depicts the town of Hawkins with the looming figure of the Mind Flayer in the background. A section of the design rendered in shades of gray symbolizes the dark dimension of the Upside Down. The composition is completed by the “STRANGER THINGS” logo, the inscription “HAWKINS,” and The Perth Mint’s “P” mintmark.
