The piece was struck in 999.9 fine gold, with a minimum weight of 1.001 g, equivalent to 0.0322 troy ounces of pure precious metal. The bar coin measures up to 9.10 × 15.60 mm, has a face value of 3 TVD, and a limited mintage of only 5,000 pieces. The product is housed in a special card that can be easily removed from a decorative paper sleeve. Both the card and the packaging feature the official Top Gun logo.

Obverse features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III designed by Jody Clark. The composition is complemented by information on the weight, gold fineness, face value, and the year of issue, 2026.

Reverse depicts the iconic Top Gun logo, beneath which the inscription “40 YEARS” appears. The background shows a cloudy sky, referring to the aviation character of the film. The reverse was designed by Lucas Bowers.
