The WWII 75 Years Peace 1 oz Silver 2020 Proof limited coin is a piece that commemorates the Second World War. The war caused many deaths of people from New Zealand. The coin commemorates the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II for New Zealand through the surrender of Japan.

The silver coin was struck in pure Ag.999 bullion, weighing 1 troy ounce and measuring 38.6mm in diameter, to proof standard. The Commonwealth Mint is responsible for its production, with minting carried out on behalf of New Zealand Post. The product is full legal tender in New Zealand. The mintage of the silver coin is only 1,500 pieces, where the whole coin comes in its original box with an accompanying certificate of authenticity. The Averse features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain, designed by Ian Rank- Broadley. The obverse also shows the weight, purity of the bullion, country of issue and date of issue. The Rewers of the silver coin shows exultant New Zealanders at the end of the war. On the reverse side there is also information about the face value of the coin, the inscriptions "END OF WWII", "1945/2020". The reverse was designed by Nicky Dyer.
