2017 Platinum Wedding Anniversary Silver Proof Coin
The silver coin was struck in pure Ag.999 bullion, weighing 1 troy ounce and measuring 38.61 mm in diameter, to proof standard. Numiscom is responsible for its production, with minting carried out on behalf of the New Zealand Post.The mintage of the silver coin is only 2017 pieces, where the whole coin comes in an elegant case with an accompanying certificate of authenticity. The Averse depicts Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain, designed by Ian Rank- Broadley. In addition, the obverse features information on the issuing country, date of issue, weight and purity of the bullion.The Rewers of the silver coin are decorated with a photograph of the wedding day of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, a diamond ring and the inscription "PLATINUM WEDDING ANNIVERSARY". The reverse was designed by Jonathan Gray.
