1997 Mexico 1 oz Silver 5 Pesos Vasija
Pre-Columbian Period- Before Christopher Columbus reached the Americas and the conquest of this continent by the Spanish conquistadors, America was a land inhabited by indigenous peoples who developed their own civilisations and culture. As an added bonus, the obverse and reverse are reversed 180 degrees to each other, which undoubtedly makes them unique. The reverse shows an image of Pre-Columbian ceramic art. Below it is the denomination and to the right the year of the coin's issue. The obverse depicts the coat of arms of Mexico, i.e. an eagle holding a serpent in its beak and claws, surrounded by a wreath. Above this is the inscription ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS, or the United States of Mexico. Do you need help?
