10 zł Coin Polish Olympic Team Sochi 2014 10 zł Silver 2014 Proof

The 10 zł collector coin “Polish Olympic Team – Sochi 2014” was issued by the National Bank of Poland to commemorate the XXII Winter Olympic Games in Russia. It celebrates the participation of Polish athletes in this global sporting event.

The coin is struck in silver Ag.925, weighs 14.14 g and measures 32 mm in diameter. Minted in proof quality, it was released in a limited mintage of 30,000 pieces.

Obverse features Poland’s White Eagle, the inscription “Rzeczpospolita Polska”, the year of issue, denomination and the series title.

Reverse shows a design by Robert Kotowicz, inspired by the Olympic spirit and the energy of competition.
