The Royal Tudor Beasts: The Queen's Panther 5 oz Silver 2025 Proof coin is the seventh piece in The Royal Tudor Beasts series. The coin depicts the rich heraldry of the Tudor dynasty through coin design. Inspired by the sculptures at Moat Bridge at Hampton Court Palace, the coin symbolises the famous pairing of Henry VIII with his third wife, Jane Seymour. The panther at Moat Bridge is the last royal animal visitors encounter before entering the palace.
The entire series will consist of 10 coins showing the likenesses of the animals - The Seymour Panther, The Lion of England, The Bull of Clarence, The Tudor Dragon, The Greyhound of Richmond, The Royal Dragon, The Yale of Beaufort, The Seymour Unicorn, The Queen's Panther and The Queen's Lion.
The coin is minted in pure Ag.999 silver, weighing 5 troy ounces and measuring 65mm in diameter, in proof standard. The mintage of the coin is 125 pieces. In addition, this extraordinary piece was produced by The Royal Mint. The specimen comes with individual, certified packaging.
The Averse shows the likeness of King Charles III of Great Britain and the denomination and year, designed by Martin Jennings.
Rewers depicts one of the beasts of the Tudor Kingdom - the Queen's Panther - and the inscription "QUEEN'S PANTHER". "2025" The reverse was designed by David Lawrence.
