The Damascus Gate 1 oz Gold 2018 Proof is the 3rd coin in the 'Gates of Jerusalem' series, which depicts the 'Damascus Gate'. It is considered the most impressive of the eight gates in the walls of Jerusalem, which were built in the 16th century during Ottoman rule at the request of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. The Damascus Gate is so named because the route north of the gate led to Damascus.

The coin is minted in Au.9999 gold, weighing 1 troy ounce and 32mm in diameter, in proof standard. The coin is individually wrapped. The mintage of the product is 1,800 pieces. In addition, this extraordinary piece was produced by The Holy Land Mint.
