2-grosz coin is a Polish circulation coin issued by the National Bank of Poland, intended for everyday circulation. The piece is made of brass-plated steel, weighs 2.13 g and has a diameter of 17.5 mm. A characteristic feature of the coin is its plain edge.
Specimens from 2025 are delivered in original mint bags of 100 pieces, produced by the Mint of Poland. This form of packaging confirms the authenticity of the coins and their origin directly from the mint issue.
Obverse of the coin bears the inscription “RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA” in a semicircle. At the center is the image of the eagle established as the emblem of the Republic of Poland, and at the bottom is the year of issue—2025.
Reverse features the coin’s face value, the name of the currency unit, and a stylized plant ornament in the form of a leaf, characteristic of Polish grosz coins.
The coins are sold only in mint bags of 100 pieces, without capsules. Once the bag is opened, returns are not possible.
