The gold bullion coin depicting Apollo is a pure Au.9999 bullion product, weighing one troy ounce and measuring 32.6mm in diameter. The 2023 coin is the ninth coin in the Gods of Olympus series. The Averse of the gold coin shows a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and information about the face value, weight, mintage and date of issue. The obverse was designed by Ian Rank-Broadley.
Rewers shows the figure of Apollo holding a lyre, designed by Jennifer McKenna. In addition, the reverse features the inscription 'APOLLO' and the mint mark in the form of the letter 'P'.
