Tuvalu: Black Flag - The Red Flag Fleet 1 oz Silver 2021 is the third coin in the highly regarded Black Flag series, issued by the renowned Perth Mint. The series pays tribute to the history of pirates and maritime legends, with this release featuring Ching Shih and her infamous Red Flag Fleet.

The bullion coin is struck from pure silver of .9999 fineness, weighs 1 troy ounce and has a diameter of 40.6 mm. The mintage of this edition is limited to 15,000 pieces, making it highly desirable for collectors. The coin is backed by the government of Tuvalu and is legal tender within the country.

Obverse depicts the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley, surrounded by inscriptions indicating the face value, weight, fineness and year of issue.

Reverse portrays Ching Shih commanding a fleet of ships. The inscriptions “THE RED FLAG FLEET” and “BLACK FLAG: CHING SHIH” are featured along the rim. The Perth Mint’s “P” mintmark and details of the weight and purity are also included.
