The St. Lucia: Flamingo coloured 1 oz Silver 2019 Proof is a silver coin, part of the EC8 (Eastern Caribbean Coin Program) collector program. EC8 is an eight-coin series issued by islands such as Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Anguilla and Montserrat (each of the aforementioned islands is a member of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank). Each release of the EC8 represents a different island and has its own individual image. The Flamingo is a coin that is minted in pure Ag.999 silver, weighing one troy ounce and measuring 39 mm in diameter, in proof standard. It is limited to a mintage of 2,500 pieces and is issued by US precious metals producer Scottsdale Mint. The coin is housed in its original packaging with a numbered certificate of authenticity. The Averse of the coin features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and information on the issuing country, weight, bullion proof and denomination of the coin.
