Furthermore, the coin is guaranteed by the Government of Samoa as to the legality, purity of the sample and origin of the bullion, and is a fully fledged means of payment in the islands of Samoa. The product is housed in its original packaging.
The obverse of the coin depicts the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II, the coat of arms of the islands of Samoa along with information on the country of issue, weight, proof, year of issue and face value. The obverse was designed by Ian Rank-Broadley.
The reverse features the iconic superhero character, Superman. In addition, the reverse side features information about the weight and purity of the gold and the inscription "SUPERMAN".
