The silver coin is struck in pure Ag.999 bullion, weighing 1 troy ounce and with a diameter of 40 mm, in proof standard. The renowned mint manufacturer, New Zealand Mint, is responsible for its production. In addition, each piece is guaranteed by the New Zealand government and is legal tender in the issuing country.The obverse of the silver coin depicts the coat of arms of Niue, together with information on the face value and year of mintage.
