The gold bullion coin was struck in pure Au.9999 bullion, weighing 3.11 grams and with a diameter of 16 mm, in proof standard. This unique piece was designed by Asamat Baltaev, DiS. and produced by the Czech Mint, as well as being official legal tender in Niue. The coin is guaranteed as to its legality, purity of the bullion and origin of the metal. The product is delivered in the original box together with a certificate of authenticity.
The obverse of the coin is decorated with the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain, the inscription "NIUE ISLAND" and the denomination and year of the coin. The designer of the obverse was Ian Rank-Broadley. The Rewers depicts the image of Pegasus with wings and decorative ornaments The reverse bears the inscription "PEGASUS".
