The animal is the largest known snake species in the history of the Earth. It has a body length of 13 metres and can weigh up to 1135 kilograms. The silver bullion containing the image of the Titanoboa has been made of pure Ag.9999 sterling silver, weighing one troy ounce and measuring 38.6 mm in diameter. What's more, this bouillon product has a limited mintage of only 2,000 pieces. It is also a full-fledged legal tender, guaranteed by the Government of the Republic of Congo.

The Averse of the silver coin depicts the coat of arms of the Republic of the Congo and information on the face value, weight and purity of the bullion used. The Rewers shows a coloured image of the Titanoboa together with a crocodile. The reverse also shows the year the coin was struck.
