The limited edition Big Five Africa series is made up of animals - elephant, lion, rhino, leopard and buffalo. The coin shows the rhinoceros. The animals are mainly herbivores. The coin was struck in pure Au.9999 bullion, weighing 1/4 troy ounce and measuring 22 mm in diameter, in proof standard. This unique piece was produced by the renowned mint, The South Africa Mint, and is official legal tender in the issuing country.
