Scottsdale Mint
History of creation
Scottsdale Mint is a mint located in Arizona that was established relatively recently, in 2009. The entity is owned by Josh Phair, who has set himself the goal of producing the highest quality silver and gold bullion.

Even before the launch of the mint, the business run by Josh Phair was based on the sale of silver and gold coins. Over time, the owner decided to change the business model and expand the profile to include minting activities. The operation was successful, so that today Scottsdale Mint mints original and bullion products, which are realized for its own sales and on behalf of governments around the world.
Over the years, the company has had the opportunity to work with many different countries for which it has created original coin collections - including m. in. Barbados, Cameroon, Congo, Saint Lucia, Samoa, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Montserrat, Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Ghana, Fiji or Dominica.
Every year, dozens of new coins and bars leave the Arizona production facility, which caters to the tastes of investors looking for unique and innovative bullion products.

Curiosity
Interestingly, Scottsdale Mint is one of the few existing mints in the world that are not government-owned, but remain in private hands. There are several other private mints in the U.S., but that doesn't change the fact that Scottsdale Mint is one of the few private entities to produce silver and gold bars, as well as coins, that are legal tender.
Production volume
Scottsdale Mint cooperates with a number of countries and produces coins on behalf of them, which are legal tender in their territories. Most of these moments are produced in limited series, which leads us to believe that the volume of production realized is not exorbitant, and certainly not enough to compete with the world's largest mints.
For example - realized for Niue, coins from the Vikings collection were minted by the mint in an edition limited to just 1999 pieces, while Biblical was minted in an even smaller edition of 1,499 pieces. Coins minted for Chad from the ERS collection appeared annually in mintages of 5,000-30,000. pieces.
Most popular products
Scottsdale Mint's offering is extremely wide and varied. This is because the mint mints coins on behalf of many different countries and creates dedicated collections of gold and silver coins for them.
An interesting series that relates to Scandinavian mythology - Vikings: Gods, Kings, and Warriors. The coins, decorated with images of Scandinavian gods, kings and warriors, were made in a heavily limited series from pure silver weighing two troy ounces.
These coins are legal tender in the territory of Niue. Also commissioned by the country, Scottsdale Mint created the Biblical collection, featuring important biblical events - m.in. judas' kiss or Jesus' ascension.
Also of interest is a silver collection of coins from the Egyptian Relic Series, created on behalf of Chad, or Terracotta Warriors, with images of soldiers and officers from the tomb of China's First Emperor Qin, which are legal tender in Fiji.
The Scottsdale Mint's offer is dominated by silver coins, but that doesn't mean you can't find interesting examples of gold coins (such as Cameroon's Mandril) or colored coins (such as the EC8 series issued by the island nations that are members of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank).
