Congo: Prehistoric Life - Triceratops 0.5 gram Gold 2024 Proof is an investment coin, which is the first installment coming from the second series of Prehistoric Life. Valor depicts a herbivorous dinosaur of the ceratops family that lived at the end of the Cretaceous period, about 68-66 million years ago, in what is now North America. It was characterized by an impressive three-horned crest on its head and a large and armored body.
The gold coin containing the image of Stegosaurus was made of pure Au gold.9999, weighing 0.5 grams, 11 mm in diameter, in standard proof. This small coin has a limited mintage. In addition, the 2024 gold coin is full legal tender and is guaranteed by the government of the Republic of Congo.
Obverse gold coin depicts the coat of arms of the Republic of Congo and information about the face value, weight and sample of the bullion used.
